Application Requirements
Article 7-(1)
A) Applications of candidates who are in their final year of high school or who have graduated from high school and meet the following conditions are accepted;
a) Foreign nationals,
b) Those who are Turkish citizens by birth and have permission from the Ministry of Internal Affairs to renounce Turkish citizenship.
c) Those who acquired Turkish citizenship by acquiring citizenship while being a foreign national/dual national,
d) Turkish nationals who completed their entire secondary education in a foreign country other than TRNC (including those who completed their entire secondary education in Turkish schools in a foreign country other than TRNC),
d) TRNC nationals who reside in TRNC and have completed their secondary education in TRNC and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by registering and studying at colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2005. 2010,
e) Foreigners who acquired Turkish citizenship by acquiring citizenship while being foreign/dual nationals in this situation [provided that those studying in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey register before the 2022-2023 academic year].
B) Applications of candidates who meet one or more of the following conditions will not be accepted and they cannot register even if they have applied.
a) Those who are TRNC citizens (except those who have completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling and receiving education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005 and 2010).
b) Dual nationals whose first nationality is Turkish at birth, as defined in paragraph b of Article A (those who completed their entire secondary education in a foreign country other than TRNC)
(except for those who completed their entire secondary education in Turkish schools in a foreign country other than TRNC).
c) Those who have dual citizenship, one of which is TRNC nationality (except those who have completed their entire secondary education in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL exam results, and those who have or will have GCE AL exam results by enrolling in colleges and high schools and receiving education in other countries between 2005-2010).
d) Turkish nationals who study at schools affiliated with embassies in Turkey and foreign high schools in Turkey, or dual nationals whose first nationality is Turkish at birth, as defined in paragraph b of Article A.
d) Those who act against the Republic of Turkey with their ideas and actions or who have been deprived of Turkish citizenship due to sanctions.
e) Those who benefit from scholarships or higher education opportunities provided by the Government of the Republic of Turkey to foreign governments through cultural agreements, cultural exchange programs and similar arrangements, and Turkish citizens who have graduated from Western European Open Education High School Programs (except those who are studying in Western European Open Education High School programs and residing abroad) .
f) Those who are Turkish citizens and completed high school in Turkey
(Even if they later graduated from a high school abroad.).
g) Turkish nationals who completed their entire secondary education in Turkey or TRNC.
