Application Principles
Article 6- (1)
a) In accepting international students, exam scores recognized by domestic authorities and secondary school grade point average (high school diploma score) are taken as basis. (These can be used individually or together.)
b) During the application phase, the Coordination Office may request the candidates to upload documents showing their identity information and educational status to the application system.
c) The announced base scores represent the lowest score that candidates must achieve. (Candidates who cannot meet the base score requirement cannot choose the relevant departments. The coordinatorship may determine a higher base score than the base scores in Table 1 on a departmental basis during the placement process.)
ç) Candidates whose diploma or exam scores are not in the 100-point system are ranked by converting their scores into the 100-point system. In preferences to be made based on diploma score (graduation score / graduation maximum score) x 100 formula is used. The formula (exam score / exam maximum score) x 100 is used in preferences to be made based on exam score.
d) The application score of the candidates is calculated by multiplying the diploma scores converted to a 100-point system by the coefficient determined for the relevant country in Table 1.
e) Evaluation base scores and coefficients for departments and countries are as in Table 1.
