ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING STUDENT AMNESTY APPLICATIONS UNDER LAW NO. 7592
Candidates wishing to benefit from Temporary Article 85 added to Law No. 2547 on Higher Education by Law No. 7592, published in the Official Gazette dated August 9, 2026, and numbered 33335, must apply within four months from the date this article came into effect (until the end of business on December 9, 2026).
WHO CAN BENEFIT?
Those whose enrollment was terminated for any reason (voluntary termination, failure, exceeding the maximum time limit, absenteeism, etc.) while studying in all classes, including preparatory classes, associate degree programs, undergraduate completion programs, undergraduate programs, and postgraduate programs, before December 9, 2026. Those who gained the right to register for our university programs on or before August 9, 2026, but did not register,
Note: Those convicted of terrorism offenses, those who used forged or falsified documents, or those convicted of intentional killing, torture, sexual assault, etc., are excluded from the scope of this law and cannot benefit from the amnesty.
APPLICATION PERIODS
Application Start Date: August 9, 2026
Application End Date: Until the end of business on December 9, 2026.
Note: Those who apply by September 25, 2026, will be able to start their studies in the Fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, while those who apply after this date will start their studies in the Spring semester of the 2026-2027 academic year.
Those currently serving in the military will be entitled to the rights under the relevant article if they apply within 2 months of their discharge. Those who cannot apply within the foreseen application period due to force majeure may apply within one month from the date the force majeure ceases.
Those who cannot apply due to health reasons may apply to benefit from the provisions of Law No. 7592 if they submit the relevant medical board report by the end of business on December 9, 2026.
